Barbara Ribeiro is a postgraduate course co-founder at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) - where she taught from 2008 to 2011 and advised over 14 successful dissertations. She wrote afiction book, Saindo de [Casa]: first published in 2010; and the 2nd edition, in 2013. The author believes "information wants to be free", which is why she chose to share the e-book for free. Barbara is also the author of published articles at international congress P&D: "The Urban Furniture's Function", "The Interior Designer as a Brand"; plus the paper "Landscape Sculptural Marks are Symbolical Urban Elements".
Since 2010 Barbara Ribeiro has been a partner CEO at LUMI Brasil, a company specialized in exporting organic and non-GMO food, and importing Italian gourmet products. And since 2011, her Art Works are sold by Vilaseca Art Gallery exclusively.
While acquiring her Master's degree in 2005 - PUC-Rio -, Barbara Ribeiro has had the pleasure of being a visiting scholar at Brown University's Urban Studies Department. She also has Urbanism and Architecture projects awarded in Japan, Spain and Brazil. Her bachelor's degree is in Architecture and Urbanism - Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
